OctOBER 08, 2008 Individual column footings are anchored to the base rock by 8 no’s 20mm bars, 3 ft deep into the rock, and bolting it by using a special chemical designed for the purpose. This is done to provide maximum security to the Structure against earthquakes

Using the latest technology, the rocks were removed without blasting, a process which involved drilling the rock and filling it with a chemical, thereby expanding the rock and breaking it up.
